All PTA members are invited to participate in promoting Yes on 3A & 3B as a group to make this effort easier. We have several options available from canvassing the Lawrence Elementary neighborhood, to making phone calls at one of many phone banks available in the area. The election is just around the corner and many people do not understand the proposed mill levy and bond or have enough information to make an informed decision on election day.
We have many information sheets to make this process easy. You do not have to spend a lot of time discussing this but the information you provide is valuable and helpful! We cannot do this alone and need your help to advocate for our schools, teachers, and students. Your involvement is like “personal insurance” by creating the “assurance” for our children’s future!
PTA also has a few remaining yard signs available.
We welcome ideas to make this a fun project. Maybe coordinating a quick refreshment before canvassing or setting competitive goals among groups on who can make the most phone calls or who can knock on the most doors…be creative and have fun!
